Nickel-Iron-Chromium Alloy UNS : N08825 W.Nr.:  2.4858

Inconel/Incoloy® alloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of copper, molybdenum and titanium. Incoloy ® 825's chemical composition provides great resistance to many corrosive environments, such as pitting, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion, and stress- corrosion cracking. Incoloy 825® has good mechanical properties from moderately  to  high temperatures. The hot- working range for Incoloy 825® is 1600 to 2150º F. The material has good weldability by all conventional processes.

  • Flanges of special type made according to drawing

These flanges are manufactured in different shapes and sizes depending upon the purpose.

Applications:

  • Blind FlangesThese are usually used to stop one end of the flanged pipe, a valve orifice or the opening of a pressure vessel.
  • Slip on FlangesUsed in quick assembly to save the cost, these are also used in less strict requirements in terms of length of pipe section.
  • Socket Welding FlangesRecommended for orifice flanges. These work as substitute for slip-on-flanges in the cases where the diameter of the tube is very small and working pressure is very high.
  • Lap joint FlangesThese are primarily used when quick assembly and disassembly of pipe line section is required under limited working pressure.
  • Threaded FlangesThese flanges are used in special requirements to work under high temperature and pressure, making sure no welding joint is made at the assembly.
  • Weld Neck FlangesThese are mainly used on heat coupling of pipes when there is possibility of expansion of the section while bending stress on the coupling.
