Brass Pipe

Brass Pipe is one of the metal pipe types used primarily in water lines and plumbing. The pipes are also used in oil and gas, steam pipes and in hot water supply lines. Brass pipes are produced in different shapes, sizes and standards. The Red Brass C23000 Seamless Pipe is cold drawn and it has a composition of 85% copper and 15% zinc. It is used in potable water lines, conduits and in architectural applications as well. The Yellow Brass Welded Pipe is used mostly in heat exchangers as it has high thermal conductivity. The brass material does not corrode under hot water as other metal pipes do. The Aluminium Brass Pipe Sleeve is used to connect and solder two pipes together. The Aluminium Brass UNS C68700 Hollow Pipes have a good corrosion resistance in marine and sea water conditions. These pipes are annealed and tempered for strength as well. The Naval Brass EFW Pipes are used in marine industry. Red Brass Pipe is the most commonly used brass pipe. It is also much durable than other metals used in plumbing. It is resistant to season cracking and has excellent corrosion resistance against dezincification as well. A different combination of the brass brings the Yellow Brass Pipes. It has 70% copper and 30% zinc in its composition. The Brass C23000 SMLS Pipes are a fabricated grade of brass pipes. The brass pipes in general are easy to install, have great corrosion resistance properties and can retain salt water and acidic conditions.
