Sotra Anchor & Chain AS (former Sotra Marine Produkter AS) is a company 100 % owned by The SOTRA GROUP.The Sotra Group was founded in 1980 by Jarle K. Vindenes, at the island of Sotra, on the west coast of Norway.In 2020 we proudly celebrated the Sotra Group’s 40 years anniversary.Sotra Anchor & chain has become know as the worlds largest stockist of anchors & chains.The company have today over 20 000 tonnes of mooring equipment in stock.The main markets are Offshore, Shipping, Aquaculture and Shipbuildings.The company still have it’s head office and yard in Norway. We have established yards in the Netherlands and in China. From these yards Sotra supply moorings to hundreds of ships, offshore drilling rigs, aquaculture, new buildings and other mooring projects every year.Our staff are able to load and deliver immediate upon order and can make delivery 24/7.
