Founded in 1974 by H. E. Shaikh Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa, Speedy Motors was launched to provide motoring facilities to the residents of Bahrain.Operating the first radio taxi service in the country, Sh Khalid’s vision initiated another first with the introduction of a metered fare system within his vehicles. This move subsequently led to the instillation of fare meters in all of Bahrain’s authorised taxis; a move which has delighted locals and tourists immensely.
