With its own design center in Italy, Sara Suole has several units employing hundreds of skilled craftspeople and equipped with world-class machinery for manufacture and testing. Craftsmanship is key in footwear and our workers have earned an enviable reputation for ensuring a finish which compares to the best in the world. The finest craftsmen need the finest materials and tools. That's why Sara Suole imports raw leather strictly from LGW compliant tanneries in the USA, the Amazon Basin and Europe and finishes 12 million sq. ft. in its LWG Gold rated plant. 360,000 kg of vegetable tanning is carried out for soles. Besides its own premium calf, kip and cow leather, Sara Suole also imports premium finished leather from Italy & Argentina.
