WAFER CHECK VALVE

Valves can only be tested to allow fluid to flow in one direction. Check valves are designed in the same way as globe valves and use a ball or piston often supported by a spring opening under a given pressure but closing down, preventing backflow. These valves are also ideal for applications with high pressures. A version of the stop check valve is the valve that doubles as a stop valve.

Check valves are used for gas lines, air supply, and pumps, anywhere the fluid has to pass in a particular direction. They can be made of highly advanced plastic and have several unique features including metal seats.
