Basecoat: A dark, non-metallic basecoat provides the underlying color that the pearlescent effect will sit on.
Recommended product: Ritver Base Coat Black (RP092N). A black base will create a darker, richer effect for the final brown-red shade.
Mid-coat: A pearlescent mid-coat is created by mixing red and brown pearl pigments into a Ritver clear binder.
Mixing components: The pearlescent effect is achieved by using the Ritver Binder Clear (RP0100) mixed with appropriate pearl pigments. You would add red and brown or copper-toned pearl pigments to the binder and spray this layer over the basecoat.
Clear coat: The final step is to apply a high-quality, durable clear coat for protection and gloss.
