Ritver Airfield Road Marking is a high-quality solvent-borne paint specially formulated with synthetic resins for marking roads and airfield runways. It delivers a matt and smooth finish with excellent adhesion and outstanding resistance to mechanical wear, impact, oil, gasoline, jet fuel, and water.Available in red, yellow, and black, this marking paint has a specific gravity of approximately 1.43 ± 0.02, depending on the color, and contains 40 ± 2% solids by volume. It is diluted with PT1081 or PT1081XS thinner for optimal application viscosity.For best results, surfaces should be sound, dry, and free from contaminants such as dirt, oil, grease, wax, polish, and dust. Adequate ventilation is recommended, and application should avoid high humidity (>95%) and temperatures below 3°C above the dew point to prevent condensation interference.Application can be performed using conventional rollers, brushes, or spray equipment—airless spray at 2200–2500 psi or conventional spray at 50–60 psi with nozzle sizes between 0.017–0.020 inches. For large areas, motorized spray road marking equipment is highly recommended. To enhance reflectivity, glass beads may be added either by premixing with the paint or by broadcasting onto the wet surface.
