Established at the turn of the new millennium in the year 2000, BCS entered the power services industry under the registered name of Bloudan Control Systems Industry with an initial business focus on medium sized industrial power and control systems.

The turning point for BCS was its selection in 2002 as Local Service Provider for major projects operating across Dubai, BCS successfully completed this mega project in partnership with ITME and Micro Control Inc. from Australia.

At BCS, the business philosophy focused on developing credible partnerships with global and industry benchmark suppliers. These associations positioned BCS as an outstanding systems builder and trading entity that guaranteed products and services to international standards. BCS further strengthened the quality of its business approach by engaging its customers and creating value driven relationships.

BCS moved from strength to strength between 2003 to 2007, during which its revenue and employee competence grew exponentially causing the company to evolve into a turnkey services provider in the power industry. In an industry filled with reputed multinational players, BCS emerged as a strong contender bidding and winning business contracts at the highest level.

As BCS grew, new challenges such as financial positioning, market presence, service capability and quality accreditations were met through partnerships with international brands such as ABB, Eaton and Elsteel. In 2003, BCS aligned its business processes to meet world class quality requirements and is accredited through TUV Nord to the ISO 9001:2000 certification standard.

The meteoric rise of Dubai and its phenomenal global vision encouraged BCS to diversify its services and move from traditional switchgear manufacturing to service provider for the infrastructure and utility sector. BCS also extended its expertise into automation projects in the water industry.

Continuing its aggressive business development focus, BCS expanded its business range to include medium voltage and process automation services and entered regional markets including Abu Dhabi, Oman and Qatar.

In 2010, BCS became one of the leading power services company to secure ASTA Certificates, for design verification by test, for Reva-Techno & Reva-Flexi products series as per IEC61439 standards.
